Kumlubük Otel

Beautiful mountain scenery, with excellent views and fresh air.

We stayed at this small family-run boutique hotel in July and found it a lovely place to unwind. My little girl made friends with the owner's daughter, while my son befriended the son of some guests from Germany. My children said they'd always stay here. Keep in mind that it's a family hotel. Baran, one of the employees, was constantly helping and running around. He's hardworking, honest, and respectful, and I think the hotel will be in a great location in the future. The beach is about 350-400 meters away on foot, or around 200 meters by the path. It's a calm beach with sand and pebbles. There are other beaches, but they're a bit pricey. Meals are a standard set menu at a fixed price, and cleaning is done when it's convenient for you. We paid about the price of an apartment, so what more could you ask for?

This isn't a hotel at all. It felt like a disgusting private apartment building, with only two staff members. The room was spotless, but it was crawling with lizards and yellow bees. I don't understand how ETS Tur approved it. We asked for a refund, but the owner refused. What is the point of nature if we have lizards and bees in the room? It's a complete disgrace. I'll contact every necessary authority and the Ministry of Tourism with photos, and seek my rights through all institutions. I don't want anyone else to suffer as we did. I'm a health worker, supporting my children through hard work and paying in 10 monthly installments. I feel especially sorry for my children, aged 5 and 13. We even saw lizards in our bed. Were the bees yellow bees, or wasps making honey? You and your friends drank alcohol by the pool late into the night, and we couldn't sleep because of the noise. Since the other family had paid you, we didn't ask to leave because you wouldn't refund us. You absolutely violated our rights. I hope justice is served, and that tourism inspectors would see these shortcomings if they visited.

Watching the sunrise from the sea-facing balcony was wonderful, and we loved how close the beautiful sea was. The hotel is clean, with spacious rooms and lovely design throughout, including the dining area's lighting and the paintings. Its location beside the historic city of Amos is another highlight. We enjoyed peaceful time with loved ones among the pine trees, olive trees, and other natural beauty. The home-style breakfast and dinner were magnificent, made with high-quality ingredients, and the food was delicious. Kemal is honest and trustworthy, and he, kind-hearted Kemal, sweet Ayşe, and brother Samet looked after us so warmly from arrival to departure. They helped us enjoy a holiday far from big-city crowds and noise, and we didn't want to return to Ankara. It's a true family hotel, and now indispensable to us. We'll definitely recommend it to families wanting a loving, peaceful holiday. With love from the Akkurt Family.
