Karakalem Bungalow

There are quiet spots with benches outside the bungalows where you can sit with a book or just enjoy the silence. It’s a lovely fit if you want a calm break and time to recharge. The location is handy too: minibuses and the taxi stand are about two minutes away, making it easy to reach the bus station and beach. There’s a cafe on site for breakfast or dinner, Migros is close, and you’ll find other places to eat near the archaeological site and beach. Prices in Olympos are generally reasonable. We came for the judicial holiday and ended up feeling at home at Karakalem Bungalow. Retired science teacher İbrahim Hoca and his wife Emine Hanım treated us like guests, not customers. Since our bus arrived late at night, they came to collect us from the stop by car. We’d accidentally booked a standard room, but as I was traveling with my brother and those rooms usually have a double bed, they moved us to a roomy bungalow with three separate beds at no extra charge. They were warm and attentive throughout, and took care of even small requests right away. If you don’t have a car and aren’t taking a minibus, a taxi to Ören costs 150-200 TL and one to Adrasan 600-800 TL. Daily trips to Suluada and the bays leave Adrasan at 10 a.m. and return at 5 p.m. After some time on Adrasan beach, it’s easy to get back to Olimpos by minibus or taxi. It’s rare to find service that feels this sincere, safe, and thoughtful. I’m a lawyer, so apparently I’ve written a long review because of professional deformation :)) In short, Karakalem Pansiyon&Bungalov is somewhere you can book with peace of mind.

The bungalow stayed cool even with the AC off, which made it the most comfortable sleep I’ve had in the summer heat. We were there for two nights with breakfast on a family trip. The room was spotless, air-conditioned, and comfortable, and breakfast was filling, varied, and thoughtfully made. It was our first bungalow stay, surrounded by nature and greenery, and the owners made us feel right at home. Those two days left us with lovely memories. Thank you!

We only stayed two days, but wished we could have stayed longer. Grandpa Karakalem and Grandma Emine were so welcoming, and the place felt warm and homey. Right in the forest, the air is cool and clean. Karakalem Bungalow will stay close to our hearts 🌺

We came for a few days and ended up extending our holiday :))))) The breakfast had such a lovely family feel, and the weather was wonderful. It’s peaceful among the trees, with birdsong all around, and we really enjoyed chatting with İbrahim abi and Emine teyze.
