The beach is around 3 km away, so keep that in mind if you’re relying on public transport. My wife and I still had a relaxing, enjoyable holiday here. The rooms, pool and shared spaces were exceptionally clean, and having the pool open 24 hours was a real bonus. The food was especially tasty, and I’d recommend the chef. The location is nice, but the rooms were very dirty. There were cobwebs under the bed, and the bathrooms and toilets had been badly neglected. No soap dispensers or paper towels were available in the toilets. They said they’d bring them when we asked, but you have to keep chasing. I stayed two nights and three days, and the food wasn’t good: breakfast was bland and dinner was always cold. Even the tea cups were terrible. The pool barely got sun and was generally cold, so it was only usable around 1 to 2 pm. I hardly saw anyone use it. The guests seemed to be there to party, and I didn’t find them sophisticated. The owner gave me the impression he was about to run away, repeatedly telling customers, “If you’re staying today, come and collect the money.” It wasn’t a pleasant situation.

We stayed three nights with two families and four children, and it was a really enjoyable trip. The green, tree-filled setting is beautiful, and breakfast and dinner had enough variety for us. There wasn’t the food waste you get at big hotels, which I appreciated. Most guests seemed to head to the sea, so the pool stayed quiet and felt like our own. I also liked that there were no time limits for the pool, so parents could sit nearby in the evening while the kids played. For the price, I think it’s worth it.

The pool was clean and quiet, the room was clean too, and we didn’t have any problems. The air conditioning was a little noisy and somewhat problematic. We liked the food and breakfast, which seemed good for the price, and the owners were okay. There’s a nice gazebo by the pool. It’s a bit far from the sea, so be aware of that if you don’t have a car. Good value overall.
