For the past ten years I’ve spent my holidays at Olimpos Mercan Bungalow, and I recommend it as the best place to stay in Olimpos. It’s a professional, comfortable place that’s easy to reach, with clean, boutique-standard rooms at very reasonable prices. The location is great, close to the Olimpos ruins and the seaside. Breakfast and dinner are included. The food is excellent, healthy, and filling, with plenty for everyone, including vegetarians and vegans. There are lots of vegetable dishes as well as meat dishes. Service is really good, and the staff know the area well and have suggested good places to visit. There’s also an airport and Antalya bus station transfer for a small fee.

The meals included in the price were so generous that we were blown away by the value. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and tasty. Dinner was the best food we had on the whole trip, delicious homemade Turkish cooking made with love. Meril and family were kind and helpful. I’d recommend this as a home away from home for anyone travelling to Olympos.

The family who hosted us were warm and welcoming, and their fun conversations gave the stay a personal touch. Our mountain cabin getaway was memorable from the cozy accommodations to the beautiful natural surroundings. The beach was surprisingly close, making for easy walks and breathtaking views. My favorite place I’ve stayed in Turkey. The garden-like setting is beautiful, and the beach is an easy walk away. Meral, the owner, was welcoming and helpful, and her food is incredible. We were stuffed after each breakfast and dinner, already looking forward to the next meal. I can’t wait to come back!

The meals were a highlight: dinner was homemade, had loads of variety, and was the best I’ve had in Türkiye so far. Breakfast was delicious too. Getting around worked out easily for us, with a private airport shuttle on arrival and public transport when we left. The Dolmuş goes regularly to the main road, where you can catch the larger intercity buses. To reach the beach, you can cross before or after the Olimpos ruins ticket office is open and avoid the fee, or walk around the other side of the river. The bungalows sit in lovely green surroundings among the mountains. It had a relaxed backpacker feel, though there wasn’t much going on during our March visit.
