Aşiyan Bungalov No 2

DON'T COME WITH JUST GIRLS! On our first morning, after arriving on August 1st, 2025, we got a call asking us to move the car because they were going to pour concrete in front of the door. A few hours later we couldn't get out of the house because the concrete had blocked the door. It was poured in front of the emergency exit, and nobody had warned us about the construction noise next to the bungalow. The pool heater wasn't on despite the cold weather, although we confirmed it wasn't forbidden. For a five-person bungalow there were only two sun loungers and one sofa, and there was a constant strong smell from the toilet. We definitely didn't feel protected, since the construction workers next door could see right into the bungalow's balcony.

We stayed 4 nights and 5 days, and the breakfasts were filling and enough. The location is quiet with a beautiful view, but it's way up on a mountain and the roads are incredibly bad. With all the insects and stink bugs around, being in nature has its downsides. Inside the bungalows, there were cobwebs and small insects in many places. Kitchen supplies were limited, and the cabinets smelled so bad that the odor got into the plates and glasses. The sink and bathroom had no ventilation, so smells spread indoors. They only switched on the pool heating after we asked a second time, despite the cold. There are no nearby markets or shops; the closest is Bedesten shopping mall, which has limited options. If you don't have a car, local taxi drivers seem to have an arrangement with the bungalow owners and charge 500 TL for a ride that shouldn't cost 150 TL, leaving you no choice but to pay. If you drive, make sure your brakes and tires are checked.

We were in room number 1, and the pool was quite large. The jacuzzi and the rest were very good and clean. The place was nice and clean, we liked it, and the owner was helpful. A morning power outage caused some trouble, though it wasn't the establishment's fault, and they gave us two or three extra hours. Upstairs lighting was very insufficient, and we couldn't use the lights by the windows. There also weren't any hangers in the bathroom or upstairs, which was a bit of a problem. I'd still recommend it. It's a very nice place, especially for conservative families to choose easily.

The view was the only good part. Everything else felt awful, and I wouldn't recommend spending your money here. We checked in at 2:35 PM for one night, expecting a heated pool, but it hadn't been prepared and was cold. It only warmed up by 7 AM the next morning. With two children, a heated pool was crucial for us. When we raised it, the woman in charge brushed us off by saying the water was warm. We were four people but got only two towels. We asked for more, and she said she was an hour away and would come if she could. She never did. The kitchen supplies were inadequate, so bring most of your own kitchenware if you come 🙂. The place was very neglected: broken cups and cupboard handles, torn pillowcases, and a thin blanket for the evening. My wife broke a fingernail opening a cupboard. There was no firewood for the stove, nor shampoo or shower gel. The jacuzzi looked terrible too. Checkout was at 11:30. They said we could leave an hour later as compensation, but we left at 12:00. We called to say we were going, and the person dealing with us didn't even come. Service and attention were zero. You won't be satisfied, and if you still decide to come, be prepared to be missing a lot 😃. Have a good day, everyone.
