We fell for the two lovely Garsons, the kittens who were always nearby to play or cuddle, and the little squeaker who liked to hang out on our veranda. We were after a quiet, green place to rest and recharge, and Portalimo Lodge was perfect. We really hope to visit this Eden in Cirali again. The garden felt like a dream, full of orange and lemon trees, banana trees, and other greenery, with calm and beauty at every turn. At the end of October the weather was still warm and very pleasant each day. We stayed in a small, secluded house with roses and jasmine nearby, my favorite flowers. The scent each morning was divine, and at night we could hear crickets and the sounds of nature. Gaye and Erol were kind, caring, and helpful with every question. It felt like visiting our own parents. There’s a huge pool with a trust bar, a great idea for lazy people like us. Cleaning was every three days, and it was a thorough job, not just a quick tidy. The lovely Shuley made delicious traditional Turkish food. Breakfast changed a little each morning and had traditional appetizers, homemade cheese, olives, and lemon jam. The breakfast area was bright and super cozy.

With only five cabins, Gaye and Erol’s beautiful little oasis is wonderfully quiet. You can properly unwind without needing to leave the property. The wonderful breakfast lady serves a full Turkish breakfast that’s 10/10. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

We planned to stay one night but ended up extending because we didn’t want to leave. The owners welcomed us as soon as we arrived and took great care of us. The grounds were breathtaking, and the few clean, well-equipped cabins made it feel secluded. They had all the necessities we needed. The owner cooks a great meal at home for breakfast and dinner. A beautiful lodge for a getaway and some time reconnecting with nature. I’d highly recommend it.

Erol and Gaye are such a lovely couple, so friendly and always going above and beyond. The breakfast was probably the most amazing we’ve ever had! We loved our stay at portalimo Lodge. The accommodation was wonderful, really clean and comfortable, and the beautiful pool has incredible views of the surrounding mountains. We can’t wait to come back and will recommend it to everyone!
