Cactus Club Yali & Resort Gümüldür

We had a lovely time, especially my daughter, who had a great time doing activities with the other kids at the kids' club. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and there was plenty of food to choose from for everyone in the family. The hotel sits in a gorgeous spot that made for a relaxing break. I visited in October 2024 and am already looking forward to coming back in May2025.

The resort is huge, with several pools, bars, restaurants, and entertainment options. We also liked the varied food, the flexible towel exchange, the daily cleaning and fresh towels, and the friendly English-speaking staff who made check-in easy. There was free parking near the entrance and inside the grounds, 24/7 staff at the entrance, a 24/7 bar with international drinks such as J&B and Famous Grouse for UAI guests, and free Gümüldür Aquapark access with the Ultra All-Inclusive package. It also felt pet-friendly, with a cute cat wandering the lobby. The room was the main letdown. The furniture and carpet were dated, the TV was small, the safe used a key rather than a digital code, and the old air conditioning wasn't strong enough in hot weather. The bathroom had an old-fashioned bathtub instead of a walk-in shower, which may not suit elderly guests. The minibar had only water and soft drinks, with no daily refill unless you paid €1.5 per drink. Wi-Fi was weak in the room and in more distant parts of the resort. Our sea view was limited, looking instead onto a service garden and a noisy transformer unit. The third pool bar was closed, and some facilities seemed to be under renovation. We stayed four nights in June 2025 as part of a seven-night all-inclusive holiday, after a great stay at Rawda Resort that had set our expectations high. The place is spacious and well equipped, with very good food and drinks under the Ultra All-Inclusive plan, but the rooms felt closer to a 3-star than a 5-star standard. I'd say it's a better fit for families or people who care more about amenities and dining than luxury accommodation.

We were there from 3.7-9.7.2025, and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel was big, nice, and clean, and the food was amazing. The kids loved the pool, water slides, and animation program. The sea was nearby and very clean too. I recommend it, we were very satisfied 😍

We came with two kids and honestly had nothing to worry about. The food was great, everyone was friendly and ready to help, and the animation team was especially good with children. The mini disco was a big hit with our family. Gumuldur is a small village between two big cities, but it's easy to get to by car. There's a lovely sandy beach right outside the resort. We also enjoyed the wellness area and its friendly staff. We usually like seeing new places instead of returning to the same one, but we loved it here and our children did too. We might come back next year.
