City Hotel Marmaris

The buffet breakfast was good, with plenty of fruit and vegetables. This small hotel is centrally located and excellent value, though our room was very small. It had a TV, en suite, and balcony. A couple of things seemed odd: there were two cups and a kettle but no tea, coffee, or milk, and no toiletries were provided.

The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to sort things out and make things right. I also appreciated the extra steps they were taking to keep shared and private areas clean and safe and to follow the COVID guidelines. Our room was clean, well equipped, and in good working order. Breakfast was fresh and on time, and they even got my unusual coffee order right. There are lots of nearby places to eat, and the hotel is within walking distance of downtown and the waterfront. Our two kids were happy to find playgrounds close by. A wonderful hotel and real value.

We only stayed one night, and the twin room was quite cramped, with barely enough floor space for two open suitcases. Still, it was clean, and at 400 TRY, the price worked for us. Breakfast could have used some butter. Emre at reception deserves five stars, though. He helped us park, suggested restaurants and a place to clean my dirty trousers, which did a great job cheaply, and pointed out attractions to visit. His service was excellent. Thanks again!

The staff were kind and didn’t try to sell us anything. City Hotel was a perfect place for the two of us: clean, with comfortable beds, excellent Wi-Fi, a clean pool, good breakfast, and awesome coffee. It’s close to the beach, bars, plenty of shops, and good restaurants. Definitely recommended. Thank you.
