The room was simple and comfortable, with a lovely balcony. We enjoyed the peaceful setting, the garden and its friendly cat visitors. If you have a car, getting to the beach is easy; on foot, the boulevard is a 20-30 minute walk. Elke was a very kind host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She offered breakfast as an upgrade, and it was fresh and so deliciously prepared by her chef that we booked it for the rest of our stay. A truly relaxing place for a holiday.

The rooms are small but clean, and the service people are so nice. I found the place pleasant, though the decor is a bit kitsch. It’s very modest and relaxed, with a familiar feel, and enough for people travelling on the road.

The owners are nice people. I like how minimal the place is, but compared with other accommodation in the region, it costs much too much for what it offers. There are a few issues too: a dripping tap, a smelly bathroom and not enough hot water.
