Risus Beach Resort Hotel

They reset the reviews after everyone left awful feedback, since this was the first place I’d seen fall below two stars. That doesn’t change what happened to our history or how terrible this place is.

The slides, pools, animation team, restaurants, and beach gave families with kids plenty to do. My family and I also enjoyed the food, and the homemade Kahramanmaraş ice cream was really good. Our room was spacious, lovely, and very clean, with a door straight out to both the pool and the sea. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel covers a huge area with lots of pools.

The hotel building is separate from the resort, with a road running in front, so you have to cross a busy road to reach the resort. I stayed here last year, and now they’ve changed the name, apparently to hide the negative reviews. If you want to find genuine feedback, search for "*resort hotel*" and choose the one in Kuşadası. The pictures show the same place, and the original reviews are there. I know it can sound like people are exaggerating. I thought that myself before I went, but once you arrive, it’s too late. It looks like a student cafeteria, there’s no air conditioning, and they serve the cheapest, shoddiest things you’d find at discount supermarkets like Bim and A101. The rooms and toilets are filthy. The aqua park is decaying and unsafe, and you’ll see people getting injured there every day. Things are always broken, or you end up waiting half an hour in line. There are so many problems that can ruin a vacation. They seem to think changing the name gets them away from the thousands of bad reviews before the season, but they’ll just keep taking on people’s sins for another season. I hope anyone planning to go has patience.

We were happy with the architecture, landscaping, rooms, and restaurant. The one letdown was that the sea wasn’t very clear.
