Surtel Hotel

The location and views were the only things I liked. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the lobby connection worked for me only once. When I showed the staff the problem, they were dismissive at best. The bathroom was dark and felt dirty, and the shower put out just one jet of water. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

My mom and I found the location ideal for our vacation, right in the heart of Kusadasi with everything close by. The rooftop bar had beautiful views, and there’s also a small pool up there with sun loungers. You can swim in it, even if it isn’t very large. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food wasn’t five-star restaurant quality, but there was something to choose from. Our room was small, which didn’t bother us. The bathroom could have been better, but I knew what to expect. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone mainly looking for a great location.

The reception area looked really nice from outside, but don't be fooled. There were so many things that didn't work I can only mention a couple. The elevator wasn't usable, so we had to take the staff elevator at the back. The couch in reception sagged more than the pants of black teenagers in Chicago. The room, if you can call it that, had just one outlet. Make sure your phones are charged before you arrive. Bring a flashlight, screwdriver, and lightbulb too, since the lamps tended to stop working. The bathroom lights went out halfway through our stay while my pregnant sister-in-law was showering. She slipped and passed out. She couldn't enjoy her evening ice cream afterward, even though she normally loves it, especially pistachio and chocolate with sprinkles in a cone. See the picture of what was left, even though she usually finishes it. We paid for all of this. When we went to complain at reception, the woman, Mrs. BOSS, PREGNANT, LADY OF THE BOSS OF THE HOTEL, jumped on us!!!

The rooms are very tired and the whole place needs updating. It’s okay for a quick one-night stop, but they need to spend money on it.
