The view from the restaurant is fantastic, looking out over the Çanakkale straits, the new 1915 suspension bridge, and the shipping. The room we were assigned was clean and comfortable, thankfully without a smoke smell, and breakfast was tasty and enough. Unfortunately, this isn’t a non-smoking hotel. People smoked in the restaurant areas, even though they were classed as outside, with the roof and windows all closed.

The hotel seems decent for the area, though nothing special. At first there was a room mixup and we were given one that was already occupied, but they fixed it quickly. The room we finally got smelled of cigarette smoke. As a non-smoking family, we found it difficult, and had to open all the windows and doors for a few hours to clear the smell.

We stayed just one night on 10th October 2022. The view over the Dardanelles was fantastic, and the big rooms were spotless with lovely fresh bedding. Dinner was delicious lamb chops, and a great breakfast was included for the morning. The new bridge is a 10-minute drive away.

It’s a quiet place for families, with a wonderful view over the Marmara Sea. The staff are very hospitable, though they hardly speak English.
