The host was kind, and her advice about the weather was right on. We wanted to head up to a plateau, but she told us conditions weren’t suitable, so trust her judgment. The hotel feels calm and tucked away from the city, and it’s very close to Sumela Monastery, a nice setting for a relaxing break from the bustle. Breakfast was included and decent. We also ate dinner there and found it a little pricey. Even so, I’d recommend staying for a night.

That view in the morning was such a treat. The place is simple, clean, and family-run, with a cozy wood-burning stove in the dining room. It’s really all you need for a magical stay near Sumela Monastery. We loved it and will definitely come back ❤️

Set in the woods, the location is really beautiful, and the owners welcomed me warmly and cooked fantastic meals. I was genuinely surprised by how thoroughly clean the rooms were, and how carefully the whole place is maintained. It’s a charming little hotel with exceptionally clean rooms. I highly recommend it!

Around the property, the scenery is stunning, with beautiful views and the quiet sounds of water and trees all around. Being so close to Sumela Monastery makes the setting even more special. Nights are incredibly peaceful, a lovely escape. It’s a truly serene, authentic place to stay, highly recommended.
