Avsar Hotel

The Turkish tea and coffee were some of the best I tasted during my time in Turkey, and breakfast had a very good selection. The rooms were modern, clean, and well kept. Staff were extremely friendly and helped me make the most of my stay. A great place to stay if you're visiting.

I'm vegan, and finding a tasty hotel breakfast is usually hard for me. Here, I had the best breakfast ever, with fresh vegetables. Even remembering it makes me feel good. The rooms are big and clean, the hotel is very quiet, and everyone was extremely polite, kind, and helpful. I'll definitely recommend it, and when I return to Malatya, I'll stay here again 😊

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. They don't seem to manage reservations properly. When we entered our room, another person was inside and shouted, asking what we were doing in his room. The receptionist had made two reservations for the same time. There was no swimming pool, gym, or hammad, just nothing.

They were happy to let me keep my bike in the lobby, and the breakfast was great. The towels were clean, the bed was good enough, and the room was clean enough too. The bathroom didn't feel worth the price, though. I paid about three times what I usually pay for a hotel in Turkey, and it definitely wasn't three times better. My street-facing room was noisy, which comes with being central, and, like many hotel rooms in Turkey, it smelled of smoke. I had hoped to stay at the hotel next door, but a wall was missing, and the other cheap hotels had been destroyed by the earthquake. This was one of the few still standing.
