Mövenpick Malatya Hotel

The 24-hour gym was a real highlight, since it let me fit in workouts whenever I wanted. Breakfast had a wide range of choices for different tastes, though I thought the food quality could be better. Even so, the comfort, service, and amenities more than made up for that shortcoming. Staff were attentive and the facilities were well maintained, which made my stay very enjoyable. I had an excellent experience at the Mövenpick Hotel in Malatya and would confidently give it 5/5 stars. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay.

The pool has separate schedules for women and men, alternating days, so you can't swim with your partner. Is this Turkey or Afghanistan? The rooms were hot and stuffy and smelled of cigarettes even though I asked for a nonsmoking room. The a/c didn't work, there was no booze, and it hardly met the standards I'd expect from an international chain.

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was very quiet, large, and clean, with a very good bed, so we slept well. The hotel is clean, well located, and has free parking. It's right by the big shopping center, malatyapark. It deserves the price.

I stayed one night and nearly checked out in the middle of it because the cigarette smell was unbearable. Both the pillow and duvet reeked, and I had to ask reception for a replacement pillow that didn't smell. If I stay again, I'll speak with reception beforehand about what happened. I've never experienced anything like this.
