Beach House Hotel

I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Breakfast was poor, with low-quality products, and the service staff were rude, lacked empathy and didn't know basic details. Rooms vary: some are okay, while others are in terrible shape, with much of the equipment needing replacement. The bathrooms especially need serious renovation. Mine had a constant unpleasant smell, and I couldn't even shower properly. The manager, Penny, came across to me as having typical British arrogance and caring only about money. I was charged extra to use the air conditioning even though the rooms were advertised with it included.

A peaceful little haven right by the sea, with lovely clean rooms, some with balconies and sea views. The beach is clean and lovely, with free loungers, and ancient Roman ruins all around. The staff and owners are so friendly, as is their English Setter dog.

I've never been to Turkey before, but I really enjoyed it and will definitely come back soon. I'm a line traveller, so safety matters to me. I chose a small hotel in a good location, and that's exactly what I got. What I didn't expect was to meet Martine, the hotel owners' daughter-in-law. We got on so well that I think we'll stay in touch for a long time. I'll miss her and her family. Thanks to everyone at Beach House for your hospitality, and I'm looking forward to catching up again soon.

The dinners at the affiliated restaurant were excellent, and the Turkish white wine they recommended was a great choice. The owners and staff were super friendly, and the food was delicious. It was very kid-friendly, too. We’re thinking of booking the hotel for our next stay; it has a very different feel from the huge all-inclusive hotel factories along the Antalya coastline.
