Dobedan Beach Resort Comfort

We had such a good time here with friends and family. The atmosphere was warm, there was a great choice of food and amenities, and the service was exceptional. It's a lovely country for a quality vacation, and we'll definitely return. Starbucks coffee is included too 😉

There were a few things that could have been better. Adults without children often used the kids' pool, which was inconvenient, and not every staff member spoke English. Some guests also didn't seem very welcoming to our energetic baby. The pharmacy inside the hotel was very expensive: lozenges that usually cost 25-30 RON were 70 RON. Still, we had a wonderful 7-day stay. Our family room wasn't right at first, with two single beds pushed together and a single bed that wasn't safe for the baby, but the staff kindly changed it quickly. The welcome was lovely, with wine, fruit, and cake in the room. Housekeeping was attentive and friendly, cleaned daily, and kept the minibar stocked. Bottled water was easy to find everywhere, and beach towels were provided. The food was tasty and varied. There were shops nearby as well as several inside the hotel, including the pharmacy. We recommend the resort and would happily come back next year.

The only thing we weren't keen on was the music at the beach bar, which was Turkish or Russian. Otherwise, this first stay left us very happy, and we'll definitely return ❤️ We checked out today after 7 nights. The food was amazing, especially at the Anatolia restaurant, a solid 10/10 🍽️. There was free Starbucks coffee, as much as you wanted ☕. The young staff were very friendly and tried to help right away whenever we needed something. Our room was cleaned every day, and the place was spotless, with not a piece of trash on the ground ✨.

Dobedan in Side has good food, a spacious pool area with slides, a children's playground, and a lovely garden overlooking the sea. We enjoyed our stay, though it could have been better. The food, sunshine, sea, and slides make for a decent summer holiday, but they don't guarantee a five-star one. If you've already paid, don't worry, you'll still enjoy it, as we did. Services seem aimed at Russian-speaking guests. That's fine until you need basic help at reception in English or German. Some waiters and bartenders were rude, which wasn't acceptable. The music was extremely loud until 11pm, and we had several difficult nights because of it. The beach is okay, but watch out for sharp rocks and bring swim shoes. At least we didn't have any health problems.
