Dosi Hotel - All Inclusive

The Turkish night was a highlight, with special dishes and a genuinely authentic feel. The hotel also has two large pools with lots of activities for children. Our spacious room had a lovely balcony, and the free beach shuttle was handy. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel looked after, almost like part of a big, friendly family. The food was delicious and varied, with a particularly good range of local dishes. Soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, and Turkish coffee were all impressive. A special thank you to Mr. Sadik, Erhaan, and the whole team for being friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to our requests. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the hotel. Well done, everyone!

The food was excellent, the best we've had in a Turkish hotel. The location was good too, just 100m from the main street and a 7-minute bus ride from Side old town. The pools were good, with a pretty cool waterslide. But the hotel is really old, with outdated design and furniture, and needs at least cosmetic repairs. The animation team was a total disaster: they did absolutely nothing, and there were no decent evening events. Everyday life was very boring, with a real sense of neglect from both the entertainers and the hotel. During our 10-day stay with a party of 12, the only nighttime entertainment we saw was three different acts, with the animation team repeating the rest. Criss was the exception, taking an interest in guests and getting on well with the kids. When we saw the other team members, it seemed to be about how much we would spend. The woman making Turkish bread, or pancakes, seemed not to like foreign tourists. We felt she talked about and mocked them, even with Turkish guests. We were polite to everyone and weren't rude. The sea was very dirty, and there wasn't even drinking water available in over 40-degree heat. We've stayed in several 4-star hotels in Turkey and had never seen that before. If all you want is good food and time lying by the pool, you may like it. If you also want water polo, nice evening shows, or children's events, I'd pick another hotel. We like a quiet, calm vacation, but we still found ourselves bored.

The best parts were the nice staff, the lovely woman who made excellent pancakes, and a friendly young man at the snack bar who kept things cheerful with his smiles and help. Sadly, they couldn't make up for the rest of the stay. Our first room was in terrible shape. It smelled strongly of rot, the bed linen was heavily stained, and the air conditioning didn't work at all despite 31°C outside. Staff moved us when we asked, and the second room was clean and functional. The electricity also failed twice in less than a week, which doesn't seem acceptable for a hotel claiming 4 stars. Food was generally poor, bland, repetitive, and limited in choice. Lunch was reheated and served again at dinner. Only on two of our ten days was it decent and more varied, and those happened to be inspection days. The rest of the time, the same tasteless meals kept coming, without freshness or variety. The bar closed early and often ran out of drinks, even with all-inclusive. After 9 or 10 PM, you were usually out of luck. Don't buy hookah (shisha) here, it's low quality and nothing like a real Turkish hookah on the coast. Hotel Dosi in Side felt like a poorly maintained 3-star hotel with service failures and basic problems, not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, relaxing, quality vacation in Side. There are better options nearby.

Osman and Memed took beautiful photos of me and my son at the hotel and on the beach. They captured our moments in a natural, heartfelt way, and the whole shoot felt relaxed and enjoyable. They were both talented, professional, and genuinely kind. They made us comfortable in front of the camera and had a great eye for light and detail. We'll treasure these pictures for years.
