Dream Park Bungalow Hotel

We came with three rooms for six adults, two children, and a baby, but left after our first and second days, never to return. The contracted beach cafe was good, the beer was cold, and cold water was always available. That was about all I could say in the hotel’s favor. At the entrance, a sullen employee greeted us. In the first ten minutes, we were asked about the money around ten times, even though the 9,000 TL had been paid before the 12,000 TL payment. They kept calling us to pay the remaining 3,000 TL. The pool was a decent size, but dirty, with a bottom you couldn’t see. Our rooms were dirty and old, as was the bathroom. We had no hot water in the evenings during either of our two days there. We had to carry water from the kettle in a bottle to bathe our baby. There were lots of flies in the evenings too. Meals were limited to three choices: okra or spinach, pasta or rice, and a chicken or vegetable dish. Breakfast was very poor, and anything that ran out was never replenished. When we asked, we were told it was finished. Staff weren’t friendly or helpful, and nobody seemed interested in finding solutions. People giving this place five stars often seem to have just one or two reviews, only for this hotel and nowhere else in Turkey. Either they haven’t been to other hotels, or they’re being malicious and misleading. I’m writing this as a genuine review. This place was bad in every way, so don’t expect anything else.

The breakfast was listed as running until 10:00, but by 9:30 the fried potatoes were gone. When we asked for more, the chef said, “I fried 5 kg yesterday, today I fried 10 kg, they finished it again!” His attitude toward guests was astonishing. The receptionist also seemed oblivious to the flies and wasps nesting near some room doors. We were three families, and our holiday started badly. Hygiene was the biggest issue with children there, and it was zero. Solutions were just as lacking. The pools didn’t look clean, though I let my son swim anyway. When I needed hot water to bathe my 2-year-old, the receptionist said the hotel was crowded and everyone was showering after the pool, so I couldn’t expect hot water whenever I wanted. He grinned as though mocking me and said there was hot water only until 19:00. Both days, I carried boiling water from the restaurant tea counter to our room three or four times in a tumbler. You can imagine the angry explanations I had to give to other guests who stared at me. Making a mother feel helpless made every other shortcoming a thousand times harder to tolerate. Don’t choose this place!

The room had two beds stacked on top of each other, and everything felt sloppy and careless. The linens were dirty, furniture like the wardrobes and beds was broken and haphazardly assembled, and the rooms weren’t cleaned as claimed. The whole place was filthy and the operation seemed amateurish. Service and cleanliness were nonexistent, so don’t expect much. The food was a disaster: plain pasta with no sauce, very tough okra, and something like dried beans. Even though it was mealtime and not long afterward, the food was finished, and what remained was cold. They refused to provide more when asked. The name “Aslan Park Bungalows” might make you expect an actual bungalow, but it was just a plastered room with wooden sticks. We were humiliated after traveling all that way and paying a lot, partly because of the fake positive reviews. We stayed only two hours, but they still kept our deposit. And how can a hotel in a city like Antalya that serves tourists have no room refrigerators? There’s no logical explanation.

We were unsure after reading the earlier reviews, but we found the food delicious. It might have come out a little faster, perhaps because the staff team is small. The staff were friendly. We saw for ourselves that the pool was clean, and our rooms were clean too. They cleaned each one right after guests left. For the price, it’s very affordable and works well for a family. 👍🏻
