Nova Park Hotel

The animation team made our 10-day stay. They kept things fun with different activities during the day and shows each evening, so the nights had something special too. They were consistently smiling, attentive, and polite, and went out of their way to make the holiday more enjoyable. Even outside their scheduled work, they were around for a friendly chat, which made the place feel warm and welcoming.

I went to Nova park with my family in May and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The room cleaning, food and service, and entertainment were all really good, especially Seyhmus. The hotel's location is nice too, and you can pick between the beach and pool. If you don't feel like walking the 200 meters, they'll take you by golf cart. It's suitable for children as well. My family and I had a great time, and we'd definitely come back.

Don't be misled by the ratings on Booking.com and Google. I've stayed at a lot of five-star hotels in Lara, Belek, and central Antalya, and this one definitely isn't five stars. I'd give it three at most. The food was a disaster, strange, and repeated every day. They seemed to recycle leftovers from previous days and pass them off as new dishes. The staff only spoke German. I speak German myself, but my friend didn't, and she was completely ignored. It felt as if the place was made only for Germans. There weren't enough sunbeds, and all the children were in the adults' pool. The beach was full of rocks and had no lifeguard. There wasn't enough air conditioning around the hotel. Lunch ran from 12:30 to 2 p.m., and if you came close to 2, there was nothing to eat until 7. I found almost everything about this place, which I can barely call a hotel, very bad. The one thing we liked was the entertainment team. They were very sweet.

The beach was the one really nice part, though it was too small for the number of people and the sea had lots of big stones. The food was good, but the waitresses seemed in a bad mood all day. Staff didn't speak English, joked only with German guests, and didn't talk to Slovaks. When I asked at reception for a late checkout, the woman didn't even check her computer. She immediately said the hotel was full, which didn't feel professional. Maybe it's a three-star hotel, in my view. I've been to Turkey three times, and this was my worst hotel.
