Oksana and Hasan from the entertainment team made our week special with their energy, kindness, and positive attitude. We want to thank them. They were a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay. The hotel is advertised as five stars, but to us it felt more like three. We had never before had to pay extra for Wi-Fi in our room, which seems unacceptable for a hotel claiming a five-star rating. The minibar had juice and soft drinks on the first day, then only water for the rest of our stay. The menu barely changed, and the limited variety and quality fell short of five-star standards. The surroundings were still unfinished, the beach wasn't well maintained, and cleanliness could be better. We can't recommend this hotel because the service, facilities, and overall experience didn't meet what we'd expect from a true five-star resort.

The staff were consistently friendly, easy to approach, and ready to help, and many spoke several languages, which made things feel welcoming and straightforward. The entertainment team kept things engaging, and there was a good range of drinks. Our room was clean and well maintained, and room service was helpful. The location was convenient enough for getting around, though it wasn't the main highlight. We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.

The food and drinks were both good, with plenty of choice, and even the alcoholic drinks tasted full strength. Hasan, Deniz and Oksana were especially friendly and helpful. Our rooms looked modern, though they could have been cleaner. Getting to Alanya or Side takes around 40-50 km, which was the main drawback. Still, we had a fun stay at Palemon Resort & Spa and would go back.

The staff were lovely, though their limited English was very noticeable. The free shopping trip offered by the hotel felt like a con: they bullied and intimidated us, tried to take money from my purse, and charged far too much. They wanted more for a fake item than the real one would cost back home. I paid for a 5-star holiday and felt I got 3 stars at best. The food was terrible, and I came home a stone lighter after hardly eating all week. This hotel really isn't suited to British guests or anyone with allergies or intolerances. There were peppers and nuts in everything, with no food labels. There was no sauce for the rice, no potatoes or chips, just skin-on wedges.

The pool was great, and the food and drinks were amazing. The entertainment was fantastic too. Denis, hasan and nastia were all lovely, welcoming people who kept checking that we were okay.
