Pera Side Hotel

The location was convenient, an easy walk from the busy station and the old town of Side. This is a small, independent hotel, and the room was passable, though not spotless. Breakfast wasn’t very good and definitely wasn’t suitable for vegetarians. It was served pre-set, so we couldn’t choose what we wanted. They’d also left the kettle and mugs out of our room.

Good clean room for an overnight stay. The pillows were very lumpy, and there was no extractor fan in the bathroom. Also, they use single-use plastics.

We stayed for ten nights in July, two people, and found Pera Side Hotel comfortable. It’s a small urban hotel, around 20 rooms, opened in 2023, and everything is new. The room had a balcony, fridge, air conditioning, large TV, and shower gel, shampoo, and soap. The plumbing was good and towels were changed regularly. The restaurant downstairs serves Turkish breakfast with eggs, cheese, sausage, olives, vegetables, and fruit. Breakfast was included in our room price, and hotel guests get 10% off the restaurant menu. Migros and A101 grocery stores and cafes are nearby. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. Staff at both the hotel and restaurant were friendly and helpful, and manager Afshin helped us with various things. We’d stay here again next time. :)

The location was just right, away from the busy holiday crowds but still only a 15-minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes from the Ancient ruins. The staff were great, made us feel welcome, and couldn’t do enough for us. Fatih Kaya from the Restaurant next door was an amazing, helpful host. Thanks to everyone for a great stay. 😎
