Avoid this hotel. It was the worst®™ hotel in Turkey.

This is an okay hotel where you can stay and relax, but if you’re after luxury, choose somewhere more expensive. There’s a pool on the grounds, which is both a plus and a minus. The grounds are small and it’s right by reception, but on hot days you can swim and have fun, including jumping in, which other hotels often don’t allow. After 6 p.m. they add some kind of cleaning agent, so the pool can’t be used until morning. The staff didn’t always understand what guests needed, but they tried hard to help with service and practical things like suggesting routes. They were always helpful. The rooms were less good: there are only a few, and just one, room 601, has air conditioning. Without it, it’s hot and stuffy, and even that unit seems to work poorly. The shower is connected to the toilet, so it stays wet, which I found inconvenient. Cleaning isn’t daily and is done only on request. The location is pretty good, with markets, bazaars, supermarkets, and cafes nearby, plus a local dolmush bus. The sea is a 7-10-minute walk away, and the beach is clean and sandy. The ancient city and other attractions are about 30 minutes away. The food is tasty and filling, though meat is served infrequently and in small portions. If you don’t like meat, that’s fine. Breakfast is the weak point, with only salads, a boiled egg, and jam. The drinks are fine, with unlimited coffee from a machine and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the bar.

We mostly came to explore the old town and walk around, and only used our room to sleep, so we loved the stay. The hotel was good for a regular beach holiday, as long as you understand the price and what it includes. Everything was basically right for what we paid, 2,100,000 rubles from Krasnoyarsk for our stay from July 31st to August 9th. We had full board, not all-inclusive, so it was a shame drinks were only available during meals. Still, there was plenty of food and nobody went hungry. Breakfast began at 7:00 a.m., lunch at 12:30 p.m., and dinner at 6:00 p.m. It’s best to arrive right when service starts. The sea was pretty good, and there were always loungers despite the crowds. The hotel ran transfers to the sea at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with return trips at 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Thanks to all the staff, everything was great.

The location is in the city center, so my mom and I visited shops and markets and went on excursions every day. The hotel bus took guests to the sea, though we preferred walking because it wasn’t far and was more interesting. The sea was superb and so warm, once you stepped in, you didn’t want to leave. Our eight days flew by. We stayed from September 6th to 13th, and had expected the worst after reading the reviews, but were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome. Everyone was polite, friendly, and ready to help. Yucel at reception carried our suitcases and helped us settle in. Our room was large and clean, with a balcony, two good beds, TV, fridge, large table, ottoman, two bedside tables, mirror, air conditioning, toilet, sink, shower, and antibacterial soap in the shower and toilet. The dining room served good food three times a day. There was plenty of variety, lots of salads, and watermelon every day with no limit. The chef also tried to vary the main course. Tables and dishes were always clean. The friendly bartender served cola, fanta, sprite, and a selection of alcoholic drinks at dinner. My mom and I had whiskey and cola. The teas and coffees were tasty, and there were coolers with clean water and disposable cups everywhere. Fuat, Umut, and three other young men cleaned thoroughly every day, washing the dining room tables, floors, pool, and everything else. When we left, the staff were just as helpful. Serdar Bey, the hotel owner, wished us a safe journey and invited us back next year. Thank you all for everything. We wish you health, prosperity, and good luck!
