We didn’t stay at the hotel, just had dinner at the restaurant last night. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The grilled trout wrapped in grape leaves was so good, and they did the fermented cabbage really well too. Highly recommend the trout.
Perge Doğa Evleri is in a beautiful, peaceful spot right beside the river, where you can watch people rafting. It’s one of the loveliest places in the area. The hotel was clean and well kept, and I really enjoyed my stay. Food and drinks took a while, and a few of my orders were forgotten, which was disappointing. It may have been because we visited on a Sunday, when it seemed busier with local visitors. I’m giving it four stars for the slow service, but I’d happily return and recommend the place.
One of the best places we found for a good lunch by running water, with geese around. We had an amazing grilled trout from the basin about 10 meters away, wrapped in a leaf. It cost 500 Turkish Lira on October 30, 2025.
We planned to go with our one-year-old baby, and had a Turkish friend call the day before. He agreed on 2000 lira per person for a room with a private swimming pool. When we arrived in 44-degree heat, check-in was handled through Google Translate and we were told it would be 6000 lira per person, 4000 more each because we were tourists. After a 20-minute call with our friend, they lowered it to 3000 per person. We’d already driven two hours, so we took the room. Check-in was available after 13:00. We arrived at 15:30, but the room was still dirty and needed cleaning. Since the restaurant was full, they made us wait outside in the 44-degree heat for 40 minutes with our baby. The room was nice and cozy, but the pool was filled with ice-cold mountain water, so it was impossible to swim with the baby. We returned the keys at reception and drove two hours back to where we were staying. We’re not coming back. They were very unfriendly and not tourist-minded at all. If you’re a tourist, they’ll surely scam you.
The water flow and the sound are beautifully planned, and the hidden location is a wonderful choice. From the dining area there are great views over the artificially created waterfront and walkway. The place was still under construction when I visited, but I think it deserves a full five-star rating for what viewers see. The restaurant was badly mismanaged, though, and didn’t feel like Turkish hospitality. The staff seemed new and unsure how to handle things. Food quality was good, but the service was really poor. The staff need to become much more responsive.
