Ramada Resort by Wyndham Side

The shop staff near the restaurant were extremely polite and helpful, and far more welcoming than the main hotel team. That was a bright spot in what was otherwise one of our worst holiday stays. I travel often and rarely leave negative reviews, but this was so disappointing that I felt I had to. We were a group of ten, including four children, and after our long journey the kitchen staff were already clearing the food. We weren't given enough time to eat properly and left with barely anything. The room was acceptable, but the air conditioning didn't work, the fridge was off, and there was no water provided. We were also shocked to learn that internet cost extra, charged per device. The food was average, with very little variety between lunch and dinner. Language barriers made basic requests difficult, and reception staff were particularly unfriendly and showed little hospitality. One staff member, Oguz, came across as quite rude and was especially unhelpful. Entertainment and activities were limited, adding to the underwhelming experience. I wouldn't recommend this resort.

The hotel has the food, shops, drinks, spa, pool, and everything else you actually need, though it's a little distant from everything else. I went with my family, and we loved our stay. The service, constant cleaning, food, and safety were all perfection. A huge thank you to JULIE at the spa for the best massage ever. She was amazing, and the facility was clean. The massage and Hammam were 10/10. My week went so fast, and I wish I could have stayed longer. If I come back to Antalya, would I visit Ramada again? Absolutely! The weather was nice and warm in late October, the only positive I can think of. The food and drinks were awful. Every dish was cold, even the soup, and there was no supper for us when we arrived, just late-night soup at 11:30 p.m. Everything seemed to be fried in some kind of evil oil, and it tasted horrible. I got food poisoning on day 2 and barely ate anything for the rest of the week. The bathroom wasn't cleaned after that episode either. It's a dreadful hotel. No wonder it's all-inclusive, because I don't think anyone would pay for this food and drink. The EasyJet hotel director needs to be sacked for sending Brits here. Just horrible throughout.

After the guest relations manager visited me this morning, I raised my rating to two stars. She was very polite and accommodating, listened to my concerns, and said she'd take the necessary steps to address the complaints and make improvements. I see it as a clear gesture of goodwill, and hope things improve next season. For now, my rating stays at two stars. Before that visit, I felt this was probably my worst hotel stay in 30 years of extensive travel around the world. I deeply regret choosing Ramada Resort Side. Food hygiene was terrible, stray cats were everywhere, including the restaurant and main lobby, and flies were at infestation levels, all over the food. The hotel cleanliness was a disgrace. Staff were extremely impolite, and I often heard comments like, "This is not my hotel; if you do not like it, do not come back." A staff member dealing with guests should never say that. Guest Relations handled my complaint very lightly, which made it seem that the toxic culture was rooted in management. Internet was available only in the very slow lobby, with extra payment required for a faster service. There was no internet in the rooms. I hope I don't have another stay this bad. The hotel needs a complete change in mindset and management.
