Side Legend Hotel

We checked in at midnight on July 8 for a seven-day reservation. The room and staff were OK, but the food was filthy, there was no maintenance, and cleaning was inadequate. They called it all-inclusive, but served cheap drinks; sometimes there weren't even plates at the buffet, and when there was one, there might be no spoon or other cutlery. Most staff didn't speak much English, so it was hard to explain what I needed. The listing showed 3 1/2 stars, but to me it felt like zero stars. I wouldn't recommend this place to tourists.

The staff were very nice and the pool was clean, but after seven nights in June 2025, I would not recommend booking this hotel. The power kept cutting out, leaving you in darkness, and the internet went down with it. It could take days to come back. The air conditioning was useless: it ran for 5mins, then reset to 28oc, so the rooms never cooled down. The food was limited, always cold, and the same every day. I know it's a budget hotel, but it really isn't worth it. I've stayed in many hotels in Turkey, from 3 star to 5 star, and this was the worst. DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL.

This place is dirty and filthy, and urgently needs repairs or a full refurbishment. Calling it a 3 star hotel is a disgrace. We began with dirty towels, sheets, and pillowcases, and room service was poor or nonexistent. There was a broken mirror in the bathroom and dangerous electrics, which made me question the health and safety standards. They try to sell an all-inclusive stay, but there were no cocktails, and at times no red wine or vodka, though Efes was available around the clock. At meal times, glasses and cups were dirty, and there might be no plates or cutlery. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The people made the holiday brilliant. My mate and I made loads of friends from across the UK and Turkey. The hotel was a bargain for a budget holiday, and I'm not knocking it, as it clearly runs on a very tight budget. Cleaners did a professional job keeping the place tidy, and restaurant staff made sure there was enough food at meal times. It may not be what you fancy, but if you know how to cook, you can make something you like from what's available, such as a cheese and salad sandwich with fresh bread or a vegetable mix with soup. I never ate out once. If you want a particular meal cooked just the way you like, there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
