Side Star Beach Hotel

The private beach beside Side Star Beach and the delicious food made for a wonderful holiday. The hotel provides good conditions for relaxing, and the employees are always available and help make the stay pleasant. I do think they should focus a bit more on English for guests from different countries, since German currently dominates.

The hotel is in a great spot, with a pretty beach, though it gets crowded. There's a long, beautiful walking route into Down-Town, with plenty of restaurants and bars offering live music. The atmosphere is really friendly, and there are lots of lovely cats too.

This was our second stay at side star beach, for 14 days. We were put in a ground-floor room facing a wall, and a family in the next room had paid for a sea view but got the same room as me. The receptionist said there wasn't another room available. You come for a seaside holiday and end up looking at a wall. Air circulation on the balcony was terrible too, with walls enclosing three sides, so our swimwear and towels never dried. The hotel is well located, especially if you like historical Side. At dinner, the all-inclusive spread is full at the start of service, but if you arrive later, most of the food is gone and only leftovers remain. Dinner runs from 1830 to 2100, and by 2000 it was almost over.

The animation team kept everyone involved, and even though we were the only English guests, I never felt left out. Other guests were friendly too, despite the language barrier. Every staff member, from the chefs and waiters to reception, was helpful and welcoming. Our week was relaxing, and the hotel was spotless, with amazing cleaning staff. I’d definitely recommend it for an out-of-season break. Thanks for a lovely week.
