Sultan of Side Hotel - All Inclusive

We stayed for 10 days, from 29/7 to 08/08, and had an amazing time. The hotel is less than an hour from the airport, the facilities were clean and everything was included. Massages and the Hamam were good value. It’s great for families, with entertainment every night, and there’s a private section of beach about a 10-minute walk away. The food was freshly cooked with lots of choice. We’ll be back next year.

We stayed from 12 July to 21 July 2025, and I’d give this hotel two stars. The food was covered in flies and inedible for us, so we ate out every day. It also didn’t cater for allergies. The drinks were cheap and not worth drinking. Our family room was spacious and nice, but water leaked from the ceiling light down toward the electrical sockets, which felt very dangerous. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, so I had to buy a Wi-Fi box outside the hotel. The cleaners were lovely and trustworthy, and the young man working in the hotel shop next to the snack bar was lovely too. Other staff didn’t speak English. Ice cream was available only from 3 to 4 p.m., which is laughable for a five-star all-inclusive hotel. The food queue took 20 minutes because the hotel wasn’t big enough for the number of guests. To get a sunbed, you had to put towels out at 6:30 a.m. The evening entertainment was shocking and not worth watching, although the arcade was good for children, with flashing ride-on cars. I’ve been to Turkey 11 times, but this experience has put me off coming back. After spending nearly £5,000, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and book elsewhere.

Our rooms were actually okay, but the hotel was dirty, overpriced, and nowhere near five-star. I’d call it a two-star place. Everyone in our family got a virus and we were ill after eating there. At the spa center, be careful with Natasha: she tried to rip you off and never gives change or money back. The staff are all treated like slaves.

My 13-year-old nephew died while staying at this hotel on 20 August 2025 after contracting an illness during his stay. His repatriation flight was on 22 August 2025. The NHS will investigate and carry out an autopsy.
