The location worked well for us: it was a few hundred metres from the sea, the hotel beach took 5-10 minutes to reach, and the old town was nearby. There was plenty of greenery, and twice a day the beach had a 30-minute service with coffee, water, watermelon, and some cookies. The food was tasty, and the rest of the staff were nice, though one tall, large man at reception was unpleasant and rude. Children’s entertainment was weak, just a few minutes in the evening. Some staff had very poor knowledge of foreign languages other than German, and the difference in service was noticeable: Germans got prompt attention, while we Poles were treated OK. The rooms were in very poor condition, probably last renovated 15 years ago. Cobwebs were above the door and in the recess beside the wardrobe, and the floor slanted so much that the wardrobe wouldn’t close. Silicone had been applied messily around all the bathroom gaps, the toilet flush often leaked, and the shower went from fine for 10 seconds to scalding for 5. The air conditioner looked yellowed and ancient. In our second room, it kept dripping; staff said they’d fixed it, but nothing improved. We asked to change rooms after reporting these problems, but got nowhere. There were also ants in the rooms and often in the beds. We reported those and the mosquitoes, and were told there had been disinfection, but it made no difference. It seemed to me they just vacuumed up the ants and let new ones come in, and they didn’t even bother with the mosquitoes. Our room’s “balcony” door opened onto a fence, with chickens and ducks behind it and loads of mosquitoes. My child was badly bitten. Smoking was allowed everywhere, including at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so it was hard to eat through the smell. The pool loungers were always claimed with towels despite a ban on reserving them. At the beach, we couldn’t find a lounger closer than the fourth row: the man managing that area put his own towels in the front spots and offered them for a fee, something no one had mentioned. At checkout, they charged us €10 for a small marker stain on a sheet without even trying to wash it. My child had stained a sheet twice. I accepted the first charge and paid €20 because it was heavily scribbled on, though that felt like a huge amount for a sheet in a country known for textiles. The extra charge was the last straw. I don’t recommend this hotel.

We found it cozy and quiet, with the beaches just two minutes away and a central location. It’s a pleasant hotel, not one of those huge places you see all over Turkey. The staff were phenomenal, always kind, attentive, and friendly.

The food was delicious, and the staff were really nice, especially barman Ali. The pool was checked three times a day and cleaned every night. Our room was cleaned daily too, with fresh towels and bottles of water each day. The hotel was very nice and kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

The staff were the exception here. They were consistently friendly and helpful. Everything else made this the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I’d give it 1 out of 10 stars. The rooms were old and run-down. The shower didn’t work properly, and there was a big trail of ants right in front of the [unclear in source]. The TV was about as small as my tablet. The food was easily the worst I’ve had in a hotel. It was nearly the same every day, either bland or way over-spiced, the fish for example. Drinks were the cheapest of the cheap. Even the Coca-Cola tasted like it was made with cheap syrup, and the alcohol was even worse.
