Voyage Sorgun

Voyage Sorgun is beautiful, and many staff members were kind and helpful. Still, one difficult stay changed how we feel about the hotel. We'd taken our family there for years, and our children had practically grown up visiting; until last summer we always left with lovely memories. Last year our younger daughter became seriously ill. The on-site doctor recommended antibiotics without doing proper investigations, which concerned us. While we were still dealing with this, our belongings were put outside the room before checkout was finished, making us feel unwelcome. Back in Istanbul, a specialist ran blood tests and told us our daughter had most likely caught an infection from a swimming pool. The pools during our visit were overcrowded beyond what we considered safe. Pool parties may be popular, but guest safety should come first, and parents with young children should be very cautious. Sadly, this ended our Voyage holidays.

Our personal assistant Cemli was responsive and helpful day and night, both in person and through the app. The buffet was fresh, plentiful, changed daily, and had no queues. We also enjoyed the Chinese restaurant for a small extra charge, and my parents said the steak restaurant was great value with incredible food. The patisserie looked beautiful and tasted just as good, with macaroons, pastries, and several desserts. Pools and loungers were plentiful, and we liked the pier sunbeds and the quiet family pool among pine trees and gardens. Drinks were all premium, and we thought the cocktails had improved since our previous visit in 2023. This was our second stay, and we'd never been to an all inclusive before our first. The hotel is immaculate, with quick check-in, champagne and chocolate strawberries, then a buggy ride to the room. This time our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, robes, shaving kits, and lovely L’occitane toiletries. It was refreshed at least twice a day, or more or less if requested. A fantastic family holiday at Voyage Sorgun. Thanks, we'll be back.

The gym hours were the only thing we raised. It opened from 8 to 20, which made it hard for early risers with children to use while the kids were asleep. To our surprise, staff contacted us that same day to ask whether we'd like it to open earlier. That was a lovely response. Everything else at the hotel was at an amazingly high level and beyond expectations. Definitely worth another visit.

I loved the cleanliness, food, and facilities, and I'm so glad I joined the Voyage family. I'd like to spend every holiday here. Many thanks to all the staff for their support, especially Mr. Ali, Mr. Öztürk, Ms. İrem, Ms. Cemile, and Ms. Öykü.
