Hane Sun Elite Hotel

Memo and Arslan really brought the activities to life. Their humour, friendly manner, and way of involving guests of all ages made every day fun, from pool games to the evening shows. The shows were well organized and featured talented performers. HANE Sun Elite in Side was modern, clean, and well cared for. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and there was a wide choice of delicious food each day. The clean beach was a short walk away, with plenty of sunbeds. I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday with plenty to do.

The food was a highlight, especially the local dishes and the gozleme made by the lovely ladies. A couple of things, like the sushi, weren't good. In May there weren't many people, and we enjoyed both the pool and sea, though we didn't stay in either for long. I was there for a week with my wife and young son, and even though we take similar holidays four or five times a year, this was definitely a very good choice. Our first-floor room was beside the pool. The main downside was poor soundproofing in the hallway and from outside. Animation music played loudly until 11 p.m., which was a problem with our son going to bed at 8. Communication in English was also a bit difficult. At the restaurant and bars, only one person spoke it properly, and when we ordered, we often ended up with something else.

The spa was fantastic and so relaxing that we used it almost every day, though the staff did push a bit when trying to sell packages. The gym was small, but it had all the equipment we needed. WiFi in our room was weak, although it worked perfectly in the restaurant and lobby, so the signal may depend on where you're staying. The buffet was a real highlight, with lots of delicious, well-prepared options for different tastes. There were lovely desserts in the lobby, along with plenty of drinks. Our spacious room had a beautiful pool view, so we could watch the daily activities. The multilingual animation team, especially Murat, did a great job getting guests involved, and the evening shows were well organized with talented performers. The hotel was conveniently placed: the beach was a 5-minute bus ride or a 15-minute walk, and it was clean, uncrowded, and had a good food buffet, without pushy vendors. Within a five-minute walk there was a well-stocked pharmacy, a bazaar, a Migros supermarket, and good doctor services. Staff were welcoming and consistently friendly. Our cleaner was attentive and found a way around the language barrier to bring us extra water bottles, which we appreciated as big water drinkers. Some servers remembered what we liked and brought drinks before we asked. The woman at the general store was very kind, and the animation team handing out flowers to women for Mother's Day was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

The pool area was lovely, and the food was plentiful and nicely prepared. It's about half a mile to the beach, with a regular courtesy bus. The hotel is quite decent and modern, and both the wait staff and janitorial staff were keen to help. The maid on our floor was especially nice, even though she didn't speak English.
