Ramada Plaza от Wyndham Mardin

After a full day working under the summer sun in Mardin, I couldn’t use the outdoor pool after 6 p.m., even though sunset is around 8:25 p.m. Getting into the pool earlier in midsummer could mean sunburns almost like nuclear burns. The reception and housekeeping staff, and some of the restaurant staff, were very professional. But some managers and a waiter followed us around like a kindergarten teacher if we opened a small beer we’d bought elsewhere, since the hotel doesn’t sell it. This is the first Ramada I’ve been to with such a stupid rule; other Ramadas don’t make an issue of it. It’s the worst Ramada I’ve visited. There’s a message on the room desk asking how they can make the hotel better, but I don’t believe anyone listens to guest feedback. Having to pay for the full stay in advance at check-in isn’t fair either.

We’d planned to stay just one night, but the service and hospitality were so good that we extended our visit. The hotel helped us decide where to eat and how to sightsee, and arranged taxis into Old Mardin so we didn’t have to stress about parking. Thanks so much, we had a great stay and I highly recommend it.

We spent 3 nights and 4 days at Ramada by Wyndham Mardin, and the stay was better than we expected. The rooms were spacious and well kept, breakfast was generous and delicious, and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and lovely views. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. I’d recommend staying here for a relaxing, memorable trip to Mardin. Thanks to the whole team for making us feel so welcome.

Murat at breakfast was especially hospitable and made sure everyone felt cared for. The breakfast itself was high quality, and the gym had all the equipment we needed. Old Mardin is a 12 minute drive away, while Mardian mall, with plenty of restaurants, is 5 minutes away by car. The reception team welcomed us warmly and made a real effort to speak English. Our room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable, with a choice of pillows. We really enjoyed our stay at Ramada Mardin on the last leg of our trip through southeast Turkiye.
