It's easy to reach and would work well for a weekend or a longer break. Ferries from Tekirdag run often and are cheap, even with a car. If you don't have much luggage, you can walk through the little harbour town to get to the hotel. The hosts have ties to both Germany and Turkey, and reception staff speak English. The rooms are clean and kept that way, though the bathrooms are on the small side but adequate. There's a great place to sit as the sun goes down. Breakfast is a spectacular spread served on that same balcony, and steps lead down to a private beach that's perfect for a quick swim beforehand.

The rooms on the upper level look out over the sea, which is very close by. They're clean and have all the facilities. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful, and the host was especially pleasant. A lovely little boutique hotel, all in all a great experience. Go for it.

A quiet, peaceful stay with helpful staff. The boutique hotel has the island's nicest view, comfortable clean rooms, and the beach is just down the hill.
