The sweet, friendly Kalemi Pension family made our first visit to the island really special, and we're grateful. If you want to get away from life's chaos and enjoy some peace, and you have reasonable expectations and good manners, you can come here with confidence. If those things aren't for you, please don't disturb the calm of the place. 😊🧡

We've been coming to the island for nine years, and this place feels like a hidden garden. There's a magnificent beach just 20 metres away. Ms. Yasemin, the owner, and her colleague Ms. Ayla made us feel right at home with their hospitality. Thanks so much for all your hard work and dedication.

We'd never been to Marmara Island before, and Kalemi Pansiyon was our first stay there. We were so pleased that we hope to return soon. It's a friendly, welcoming family business, surrounded by greenery and right by the sea. Manastır Koyu is only a 5-10 minute drive away. During our week there, the kids loved picking plums and mulberries from the trees. On the day we left, Ms. Yasemin had picked a bag of plums from a tree for the children to take along. Birds and crickets made the daytime lively, then went quiet at night and let us sleep. What stuck with us from the island: Kalemi Pansiyon, with its friendly people and greenery; Manastır Koyu, which reminded us of Altınkum in Didim as it used to be; the late-night pastries that come out at 10:30, a tasty habit that might add some weight; and the night ice cream, especially the black mulberry, koruk, and tahini flavors.

We stayed with our family for six days about ten days ago. It's a pleasant, safe guesthouse with a garden, close to the sea. The rooms and sheets were clean, and the owners were friendly and checked whether we needed anything. You can't expect hotel comforts from a guesthouse, and we left happy, hoping to come again. One woman who reviewed the place made very unpleasant and unfounded comments, which shouldn't be taken into account. Thanks for everything, Kalemi. See you again, regards.
