Moda Beach Hotel

The sea was lovely and spacious, and we found some great pubs nearby for food and drinks. The hotel’s central location worked well, but we were disappointed by the rooms. Ours was extremely small and narrow, making a stay with three people almost torture. The pictures on Google gave us the wrong impression, both of the room and of the cramped beach area between two hotel beaches, where there were only six sunbeds. The towels didn’t seem very clean, and the rooms weren’t especially clean either. We couldn’t see this as a three-star hotel, so it may be worth looking at other options. Don’t set your expectations based on the photos.

The staff were very friendly and the location was good, but that was the only real positive for me. Rooms are tiny, and the bathroom is so narrow that sitting on the toilet puts the sink right in front of your face. The furniture is very old, and the noisy air conditioner was irritating. Cleanliness was okay, and breakfast was moderate. The in-room safe wasn’t fixed in place, so it could easily be carried around.

The food was really nice, and the beach staff always brought us drinks as soon as we came back from the beach. The employees were so friendly that they made us feel like family, which is why I still gave five stars. The room was a bit rundown, but I didn’t mind since this is a three-star hotel. The bathroom was very clean. The closet was broken and needs repair, and the refrigerator was broken too.

For the price, this place is hard to beat in the area, and it’s a big help that there’s always parking available in Marmaris, where finding a space can be difficult. All the rooms face the sea and were quite clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. One thing to know: there’s no shower door, so water gets all over the bathroom. Keep your towels and clothes in the room instead of bringing them in.
