The spa was the standout for us. Being able to enjoy a Turkish bath and massage right at the hotel was amazing, and the well-trained staff made it a memorable experience. The restaurant Happily served great food, including a traditional Turkish breakfast with our booking, and we really enjoyed the seafood and chicken dishes. Our server seemed new and was a little scattered, though very friendly, and we needed some patience with the language barrier. We came early in the season, so the outdoor pool was closed, but there was an indoor pool with the gym. Our room was very clean, the hotel is in a convenient spot for the beach and other amenities, and we had a lovely view of the bay from the balcony. The property wasn’t quite ready for the season, and there was a lot of construction all around. I’m a light sleeper, and the quiet room I requested didn’t work out well during our week there. I’ll bring earplugs next time, because I would stay again. There’s a lot of potential here.

The reception team went above and beyond to take care of our requests, and the waiters at Happily were helpful. The food there was very good too. It’s a boutique hotel that suited my husband and me perfectly. The hygiene standards were exceptional, and we’ll definitely visit again.

I’ve been coming from Australia, and Motto is my favorite hotel in Marmaris. I was there last week and have already booked again for next week, like usual. Over the years, I’ve been able to count on the professional, friendly staff, the cleanliness, the elegant feel and good rates. There are fantastic views, rooms and bathrooms, plus balconies. They have a Turkish bath, a pool and a heated pool, as well as an Aussie breakfast option. I highly recommend staying here. You’ll keep coming back to Motto, unless you’re after a five-star hotel and want to spend a lot more.

I stayed one night with a friend in November 2025. We’d prepaid, and had asked for two separate beds. The hotel was clean and well maintained, the breakfast was nice, and the staff were nice too. But when we checked out, Mustafa, the desk manager that day, tried different ways to stop us leaving until we paid extra. Their system showed the room as being for one person, even though our Booking.com reservation clearly said two people and included the request for two beds. We’d already explained all of that at check-in. Watch out for Mustafa, he can really ruin an otherwise positive stay.

The room was clean and spacious enough, though the doors need repair after a few years and didn’t seem to close completely. We had a nice week at Motto Premium, mostly thanks to the perfect location, just a three-minute walk from the beach, with exchange offices, shops and restaurants nearby. The reception staff could have been friendlier and smiled more. The food at Happily wasn’t bad, but we wouldn’t have eaten there more than twice if it hadn’t been included in the booking. The restaurant staff were very nice and tried hard, but every day they forgot something or mixed up the food, which didn’t feel very professional. All in all, we had a nice stay with a good room and location. For better service and food, you could look elsewhere.
