Sunprime Beachfront (ex. Ocaktan Hotel)

The very loud bars next door spoiled things for me. The music was awful and blared until 12:30 every night. The staff, beach, and breakfast are the hotel's strengths, and the dining area is lovely. Rooms are nice and very clean, with a great bathroom and shower. The AC was the quietest I've ever had. The beach and breakfast were both lovely. I'm not sure the all-inclusive option is worth it. The resort itself felt a bit naff and was much more expensive than I expected, due to recent government tax increases.

The food was excellent, and the hotel is right on the beach. The rooms are a little small, but that wasn't a major issue. What really makes the place is the wonderful staff, from the bar team and waiters and waitresses to the cleaners and management. They're always around, provide great service, and are happy to help with anything.

My partner and I paid over £2200 for an all-inclusive stay, and it was terrible. We didn't eat there because the food was no good. On three different occasions we ordered lunch and it never arrived, so we had to go out and eat. There was no jet2 rep. I hit myself on the shower screen when entering the bathroom because of where it was, and my partner ended up covering it with a towel. The little cleaner lady was the best member of staff. We couldn't use the pool because it was in another part, in the shade, and freezing. Even as all-inclusive guests, we were charged for a latte, and paying guests got different, better menus than we did. I would never return to this hotel.

The guys in the restaurant were the heart of the hotel. They worked so hard, were really polite, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a brilliant stay at The beachfront hotel, even though the weather wasn't great. Our room was very clean and cleaned every day. The whole experience was fantastic, and the service more than made up for the bad weather. It's my last night here with my other half, and I'm already looking forward to coming back soon.
