The Park Marmaris Hotel

We had a terrible stay. The toilet seats were broken, there was no toilet paper, and our attic room was so low that we had to duck to move around. The bed had tiny bits of dirt in it, and the sheets looked like they hadn't been changed in who knows how long. We put our T-shirts under the pillowcases. After breakfast the next morning, we left right away instead of waiting for checkout time. Breakfast was awful and had no variety. I don't even know what else to say. The place looked nothing like the photos, and we wished we'd paid more to stay somewhere else.

For the price and age of the hotel, it was a good option for our one-night stay. The rooms were a bit old and the beds had stains, so better attention to detail and maintenance would help. The pool was quite large and breakfast was ideal. It's a good choice if you're coming and going from the beach. The center is a little far, but just 5 minutes away by car. Thank you.

The reception staff were kind, the owners were welcoming, and the location is good. But the room was bare, the shampoo wasn't proper, and there was just one nearly empty napkin. The hygiene was awful. Our pillowcases were yellow, and instead of replacing them, they seemed ready to give them to the next guests. We booked on the day and got the top floor, which was charged the same as the lower floors. Watch your head up there. Of all the hotels I've stayed in, this was the worst. I hope they improve after reading this.

We picked this place spontaneously, thinking we'd only sleep there and wouldn't need to spend much. That was a serious mistake. A bed and breakfast for 1500 TL should have been a clue, but by then it was too late. The rooms were filthy. We found a guest's comb in the safe and a condom on top of the cupboard, and the terrace smelled of urine. The towels were bright yellow, and it looked like used ones had just been dried and put back on the beds. The elevator was dirty and neglected, with no working ventilation, and even touching the taps or shower fittings made me uncomfortable. The pool was there, but nobody was using it. Maybe they were as put off by the dirt as we were. There was a burnt egg smell as soon as we came in, since the kitchen and reception are side by side. They made a point of offering breakfast, but we didn't eat it. The receptionist also offered a couple two separate single rooms, then asked why we refused. Not everyone should be running a hotel, there ought to be some standards. Even thinking about the toilet area makes me feel sick. This place needs proper oversight, urgently.
