The staff seemed kind at first, and they did replace my stained sheets that first night. But the cleanliness got worse from there. I stayed nine days, and despite putting out the cleaning sign and telling reception, the cleaner came only once, if that. I had to keep asking for basic things I’d paid for, like clean towels, fresh sheets, and toilet paper. Eventually I bought my own toilet paper at the market. By the end, the floor was filthy. Then on my last day I was rushing and left my watch in the room. I realized at the airport and called the hotel, but after I’d left, nobody said they’d seen it. I called several times and no one did anything. Even the cleaner, who I guess was the first person in the room after I left, hadn’t seen it. It was a gift from my dad, worth €500 and emotionally priceless. It meant a lot to me. The room was already in bad shape when I arrived, with someone else’s hair in the bathroom, old toothpaste on the mirror, and a crusty mark on the supposedly fresh bedsheets. I hope other guests leave with all their belongings.

The beach was only a three-minute walk away, and Izmir airport was about a 30-minute drive. We had a lovely four-day family stay at this great hotel. It was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. The weather wasn’t as good as we’d hoped, but I’d clearly recommend it for a family holiday.

We spent two nights at this quiet, lovely hotel in Gümüldür. Everything, from the rooms to the rest of the hotel, was very clean, and breakfast from the buffet was good and plentiful enough. The beach is just a two-minute walk away. Thanks to Mehmet Bey and Aybüke Hanım for being so attentive.

We went to Özdere for the first time this weekend for a happy family occasion, and came away with a peaceful, enjoyable stay. What stood out most was how welcoming and friendly everyone was. The place clearly cares about how it's run, and they were very helpful with the pricing too. It’s somewhere we’d gladly make fond memories, and I highly recommend it.
