Metros Hotel

We paid 600 Turkish lira for one night, and honestly, it was a disaster. The walls were damaged, there was no bathtub, and the toilet was leaking. The sheets and tissues didn’t look clean, and the spoons and dishes were dirty. Breakfast was a mess, just cucumbers, cheese, and tomatoes, all of which smelled. The man cleaning the tables used a dust cleaner in a really gross way. Staff seemed rude and unprofessional, too. We’d stayed in two other cities at the same price and those hotels were much cleaner and higher quality. This place wasn’t worth even a dollar.

Breakfast had lots of different food and was good. The room, though, wasn’t clean enough, and there was a cockroach in a drawer. The bathroom also needs repairs. We’d called before bayram and booked two nights after the owner offered us a good deal. We even asked friends to book there too. When we arrived, he said it was bayram season and prices had changed. He’d honor the discussed price for one night, but couldn’t promise a room for the second, and suggested we find somewhere else. We found that strange since we had booked two nights, so we stayed just the one and left in the morning.

The water problem was fixed by 8 in the morning, after we checked in at 8 the previous evening. Everything happened quickly, and I barely had time. For the price, having breakfast included makes this a good place.

Parking is available, though spaces are limited. I stayed one night at an affordable rate. The first time, the room was okay and the bathroom, towels, and sheets were clean and there when I needed them. On my second stay, everything was horrible and very dirty. The staff weren’t helpful.
