We arrived worried because most of the reviews were negative, but our experience turned out very differently. We came as a large group and were happy with everything. I’d consider staying here again if we return to Mersin.

The central location was a plus, and breakfast was decent, but we left unhappy with the room. It was smaller than the one in the picture and had a damp smell. Noise carried into the room and bothered us, while holiday prices were already high.

The breakfast was described as a buffet, but for both days it felt more like a packed lunch: small packets of jam, salami, cheddar, white cheese in two varieties, tomatoes, cucumbers, and boiled eggs, with nothing else. We checked out at 11:00 AM this morning after two nights. The welcome was friendly, and our room was spacious and clean when we arrived. We were told rooms are cleaned every day and sheets and towels are changed. The beds were comfortable, though we had nowhere to hang wet clothes, so we tied them to the fire escape railing. We agreed to an extra 500 TL for a bed for our child, regardless of how many days we stayed. The bed they brought was broken, but we said nothing and made do the first night. On the second day, nobody came to clean. When we asked, they said we needed to request extra cleaning, so we did. After we returned from sightseeing and stepped through the courtyard gate, they asked for 1000 TL for the bed. We questioned why it was 1000 TL when we’d first been quoted 500 TL, and sent the bed back. They cleaned the room as requested, but there was still hair on the floor, the toilet sink hadn’t been washed, and the towels hadn’t been changed. These things left us quite disappointed, so bear them in mind if you’re considering a stay.
