At Mehmet Bey Konağı (MIDYAT), I found the room comfortable and roomy, and the amenities were top-notch. The staff were helpful and friendly, too. It was one of my best hotel stays, and I’d definitely come back.

We were very pleased with our one-night stay in Midyat during our Mardin trip on May 31, 2026. The rooms were clean and had everything they should, and the atmosphere was lovely. Breakfast was very good, too. During the day, Sümeyye Hanım and Şehmus Bey were kind and attentive, and İsmail Bey was just as thoughtful on the night shift. We spent three nights here with no problems while visiting Mardin and Midyat for the Bridge Tournament. My family and I were comfortable in the rooms, which had a distinctly local feel. Breakfast was satisfying, even if the selection was small. The staff were respectful, sincere, friendly, and helpful, and I appreciated that they were university graduates. The owner is a very kind lady, too.

Among all my trips to Gaziantep, Urfa, and Mardin, this is the hotel I’ve been happiest with. The place was spotless, the service was excellent, and the rooms felt airy, clean, and spacious. Thanks for everything. A note about breakfast: the standard option is as shown in the photo, while buffet breakfast costs extra. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the city center. The approach streets are narrow, so a very large car could be tricky, though a medium-sized one should be fine. Parking is available in front of the hotel.
