La Fontaine Guzelyali Hotel

The nicest thing is how close it is to the beach. Breakfast was nice, and it has the basics: a fridge, air conditioning, TV, and bathroom. It’s a hotel, what more do you want?

Mr. Serkan paid for two nights at our hotel and said he wanted to check out at 3 PM the following day. Our checkout time is 12 PM, and every hotel has its own rules. We told him we wouldn’t refund the hotel fee in those circumstances. If he had checked out earlier, we would have refunded the money, and there might not have been a problem if he’d asked to leave at noon. Please try to understand: what hotel would give a refund when someone wants to check out at 3 PM despite a 12 PM checkout time? Our air conditioning was working. Respectfully...

It feels more like an apartment rented by the day or week than a boutique hotel, and it needs interior work. We stayed in room 212. The shower cabin, shower heads, and sinks were rusty, the ceiling was crumbling, and the staircase walls had unpainted plaster that was coming apart. Noise from the café outside carried into our room until 2 am, and something above the bathroom kept rattling, possibly a pulley or rotor. The service wasn’t worth the 300 lira fee.

It took us a bit to find the hotel, but the trip was worth it. The place is close to everything and near the beach, and the atmosphere was fantastic, especially in the evenings. We were comfortable there as a family with two children. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, and the price was reasonable. I recommend it.
