Villa Anfora Datca Hotel

There’s no lift, though that’s normal in this area, and the villa is very clean, with a pool and lots of seats dotted around the grounds. Breakfast is Turkish style, with bread, cheese and jams, and it’s very filling. The owners are so welcoming that staying here feels like visiting relatives. The villa looks down over the market, which only opens on Saturdays but brings the area to life. It’s a great spot for walkers: head up the hill to the quiet lake area, or down toward the shops. Just don’t buy too much, since you’ll have to carry it back uphill. I’ll visit again.

It’s a small hotel, but a warm, friendly place, and the staff are always ready to help. Hakan and Mehmet Ali were especially helpful, thank you both. We came with friends to explore Datca, and the location worked perfectly: four minutes from the high street, 19 minutes from the ferryboat harbour if crossing from Bodrum, and nine minutes from old Datca town. If you’re driving, there’s free parking along the road. I’d definitely like to come back in the future.

We’re from Moldova and love to travel. We’ve been to Datcha three times with x-style to hike the Karyan Trail (Karia Yolu). The location is very convenient, close to the sea and the Saturday bazaar. Esma speaks English well and helped us a lot with a taxi, ordering food to the hotel, and everything else we needed. Thank you!

The room was clean and breakfast was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and their suggestions were all worth following. Highly recommended.
