Kayaharman Cave Suites

The family running this quiet-town Nar hotel made us feel welcome right away. We arrived around 1 AM, and the father and his son Yosuf greeted us warmly despite the late hour. We stayed two nights and slept better than almost anywhere else on our trip. The cave rooms are cozy and unusual, and the calm setting was a welcome pause from the busy tourist areas. There’s no air conditioning or fan in the rooms. That worked fine for us because the room was quite cold and had good airflow. The natural cave walls sometimes shed little sand-like stones, which we understood to be normal in real cave dwellings and didn’t mind. Breakfast was fresh, generous, and delicious each morning. Yosuf is a great cook and checked that we were enjoying it. His hospitality made the stay even more memorable. A peaceful, heartfelt place for experiencing Cappadocia in a quieter, more local way. Highly recommend.

We found the location ideal for getting around the area, and parking was easy. Breakfast had a great range of delicious choices. The owners were warm, attentive, and ready to help, and everything was clean and well maintained. Both our room and the rest of the hotel had a wonderful, authentic charm. Highly recommended.

The breakfast came in a lovely rooftop bay window. We had the best room we’ve ever stayed in, with a spa tub inside the cave. Truly outstanding.

Yusuf really made this trip special. He gave me great recommendations, drove me to and from several sightseeing spots in Goreme, and worked hard to help me find a way to Kayseri Airport for my early flight. I’d booked that airport by mistake, since it’s about 1 1/2 hours from Nar, so don’t make the same mistake haha. Yusuf helped with all the logistics until we found a solution. Thank you, Yusuf, you’re the BEST. Thanks also to Kayaharman Cave Otel. I’ll be back, and everyone should visit Turkey and fall in love with this magical place. My room was STUNNING, with a two-person jacuzzi that I happily enjoyed on my own as a solo traveler. The stone-etched room felt unique and charming, and would be just right for a romantic getaway. Breakfast was included and incredible. I also liked being tucked away in the lovely town of Nar. It’s a bit far from some Cappadocia attractions, but buses from nearby Nevşehir can take you around the area.
