The entrance is right by a walking strip, with restaurants and some sightseeing spots nearby, so the location was convenient. I liked the decoration, the rooms were clean, the shower was hot, and breakfast had a nice assortment. The staff were friendly, and room service left a bowl of fruit. My only real issue was the room temperature: it was a little warm and took about a full day to get right. Maybe that's normal in hot Nusaybin, but I'm not sure. I'd put it closer to 4.5 stars. Still, it was a GREAT stay, and I'd like to book here again.

The terrace has a lovely view over the nearby Syrian city of Qamishli. Kasr I Sercehan is in central Nusaybin, close to Mor Yakup church and lots of cafes and restaurants. It's a lovely stone building with very nice rooms and a good breakfast. The best part, though, is the wonderful staff. Everyone working there was smiling and seemed so happy.

I've traveled all over the world and have never encountered a hotel that wouldn't rent a room to a single man. This place's thinking is very backwards. Terrible hotel, don't go.
