The breakfast was freshly made and okay, but it took a very long time even though we were the only guests there at the time. There are better breakfast spots in Birgi, like Hanedan, where the food is better and you can sit in a secluded garden.

The four-hour clay-pot meat dish was really good, and the garden tables have pleasant pop art decor. I also liked the coffee served with homemade basil sherbet. Even the small rooms have clever, ergonomic layouts. The breakfast spread was superb and filling, despite the small portions served in tiny bowls. The variety was great, with apricot jam made by the owner Mr. Doğan's mother, honey specially brought from Salihli, and a roasted pepper sauce that was much lighter than I expected, even though I usually don't like it. Nothing went to waste. The indoor area is the main drawback. It's very large and hard to heat, and with the high ceiling it can stay cool in winter even though it's enclosed and has a stove. We stayed there during New Year's. In the evenings you can smell the other owner's animals at the back of the indoor space, though there was no smell during the day. It's a stylish boutique hotel with easy access.

The interior is the biggest problem. Service was terrible, and the food was awful and carelessly put together. I kept apologizing to my friends for pushing this place and skipping the other options. They had come from out of town and had once treated us to an unforgettable breakfast in their own city. We asked for a spread breakfast and said we were hungry, but all they brought was sausage, salami, eggs, and fries. Even the cheese was ridiculous: they took one slice, cut it across with a razor-thin cut, and made it look like four pieces on a triangular plate. It was as if they were rationing the last bit of cheese in the Bayındır, Tire, Ödemiş triangle, where milk and cheese are practically everywhere. Everything else was just as bad. It felt like being pushed into the home of a relative who hates us. I'm giving it one star only because it's nicer and more presentable than other places in Birgi. Otherwise, it isn't worth it. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast was so sparse, just olive paste and ready-made jams, with nothing special from Birgi. Prices are high, and if you bring a group of children, they'll still be hungry. The playground had only a few broken things, and I worried the kids would hurt themselves. There were cats everywhere, darting underfoot until I got up in fear. It made me feel nauseous, and I couldn't eat comfortably. It's definitely not suitable for women. There didn't seem to be any pandemic rules either: no masked employees and no waiters wearing the restaurant's logo. Better to fry two eggs at home, at least you know what you're getting.

We'd had no luck finding a decent place to eat or have breakfast while sightseeing in Birgi, then discovered Doctor's Place the next day. The breakfast was delicious and filling. There were two of us, but we ordered the mixed breakfast for one and still couldn't finish it. We paid 40 TL, and it deserved more. I'd definitely recommend breakfast at Doctor's Place and lemonade at the municipal tea garden when you're in Birgi.
