The room had a very nice view, but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than 12 hours. There were no food options, and hygiene was poor: while we were having dinner, I saw a puppy come out of the kitchen. The room was too hot, with no AC or fan, and the sheets were dirty. The pillows were extremely old. Even the toilet light was motion-activated, so if you don’t move, expect to sit in the dark for a while 😅

The mountain setting between Of and Hayrat is quiet, green, and relaxing, with beautiful views. There aren’t any restaurants or cafés around the hotel. It’s a good place to spend a night away from city noise and crowds, though I found the prices quite a bit above average compared with other hotels.

You get fair prices, a great view, and traditional Turkish hospitality. It’s one of the area’s hidden gems.
