Farmside

A lovely holiday, and I met some lovely people too. My wife and I found this hotel perfect for us. It's in a tucked-away location, so late-night revelers don't wake you up. The family who own it are wonderful and do everything they can for you. The rooms are a good size and kept clean by the housekeeping staff. The pool and bar are peaceful places to unwind, and bar prices are lower than at most places.

The garden and pool are lovely, the rooms are roomy, and the family running the place is attentive. Food and drinks are reasonably priced, and you can bring your own too. Since we were leaving early on our last day, they made us sandwiches. Breakfast itself is quite simple, with a lot of packaged items. Getting into the center takes about 20-25 minutes by car, so without one this probably won't work for you. We stayed two nights, and the air conditioning was a real issue. It only has one setting, with no way to change the fan or temperature. We either had to leave it on and freeze all night or switch it off and be hot. We mentioned it to the staff member, who suggested trying winter mode on low. I appreciated him trying to help, but for paid rooms this shouldn't be a problem. We only come back to sleep at night, so that detail matters to us.

We stayed at Farmside for 12 days, and by the time we left it felt like we'd become part of the family. Everyone was so willing to help my husband, who has MND, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. It's a small, family-run hotel, which suited us perfectly. The traditional Turkish breakfast was delicious, and the kids loved the pool with its hoops and balls. We'll be back soon.

Such a nice place. We were welcomed warmly and the service was great. Thanks to all the staff, we'd recommend visiting.
