Asiyan Kamp

The food was a highlight for us: Uncle Huseyin cooked generous, delicious home-style meals at reasonable prices. We also found the bathrooms and showers clean, and the site felt safe enough that we left our things without worry. The staff, especially Uncle Huseyin, were welcoming and helpful, and there’s a lovely breeze here at night, especially nice if you’re in a tent. We only managed a few nights and wished we’d stayed longer. If you love nature, Kabak is a must-see, and Aşiyan Camp is a beautiful, convenient base. We’d happily return whenever we get the chance and recommend it to others.

The view was so lovely that we wanted to stay up late and get up early just to enjoy it. Jack, the owner's dog, even led the five of us to the waterfall and back :) Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful. There’s no hot water, just lukewarm, but in summer that didn’t bother me. The place could be cleaner, and the beds and sheets could do with an update, but I still think you’ll feel happy staying here. I hope to return this year and make the waterfall walk with Jack again :)

We were really happy with our stay, including the Wi-Fi, which worked despite there being no phone signal, and Uncle Hüseyin's warm welcome. It felt very secure, too. For the price, this is the best campsite in Kabak, in a beautiful setting. We’ve already reserved our place for next year.

I got back from Kabak yesterday and wanted to write this straight away. The owners were unbelievably welcoming, and I’ve never experienced hospitality like that. Their home-cooked food was tasty and came in such generous portions that when we wondered if we’d eaten too much, they joked, “I guess you haven't eaten anything yet.” The bathrooms were cleaned twice a day, morning and night. Prices were about half what the other Kabak campsites charge. Without Aşiyan, Kabak might have been a nightmare for me, after the campground operators and the umbrella-wielding group I ran into at the beach.
